Scholarship Information


Scholarships:

Academic Scholarship: offered to students based on their academics, this will differ in amount from school to school but provides a financial incentive for our student-athletes to keep grades up.

Athletic Scholarship: provided through the athletic department and by your coach. This can cover part or all (full-ride) of your tuition, housing, and meal-plan costs. Athletic scholarships can be increased year-to-year based on performance. 

Additional Scholarship: offered through the various departments on campus, e.g. international office, major-related scholarship, or need-based assistance.

Transferring:

Between NCAA schools: You are allowed one transfer between NCAA universities, if you wish to transfer a second time you must either receive a waiver or sit out a year of competition.

Prerequisites: You must have a 2.0 GPA or above and have at least 1 year of eligibility remaining.

NAIA to NCAA: To transfer from an NAIA school to an NCAA school you need to register with the NCAA eligibility center. You must meet the above-mentioned prerequisites of academic requirements and make sure you qualify as a transfer student.

NCAA to NAIA: You have to register with the NAIA eligibility center and make sure you qualify as a transfer to NAIA.

Between NAIA schools: These rules can vary between conferences and colleges, the main note of importance is that you are eligible, recognized as a transfer, and registered with the NAIA eligibility center.

NJCAA: There are no restrictions for transferring from NCJAA to a four-year institution.
