Community College (NJCAA)
Associates Degree, a two-year option that gives you the basic technical and academic knowledge, and transferable skills, for either employment or further education at a four year institution.
Requires a total of 60 credits and takes between three and four semesters depending.
- Associate of Science (A.A.)
- Associate of Arts (A.S.)

Four-Year Institution (NCAA/NAIA)
Bachelor’s Degree, the most commonly attained degree, separated by a variety of different classifications and disciplines.
This requires a minimum of 120 credits and tends to be a 4 to 5 year commitment.
The most common classes of a Bachelors are:
- Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.)
Post-Graduate
Master’s Degree, a post-graduate option for those already having complete their bachelor’s that offers more advanced study.
This requires a minimum of 30 credits with a 1 to 2 year typical study time.
